My Bride made me aware of this:

When is International Felt Hat Day?
International Felt Hat Day is always September 15.
International Fall Hat Month is all of September.

What is this Holiday for?
On International Felt Hat Day both men and women are encouraged to wear a felt hat all day long. Kids are encouraged to join in on all the fun by crafting their own felt hats and wearing them. (September 15 is also Make A Hat Day) So pull out those felt hats and felt craft supplies and join in the tradition of wearing one on September 15th. Show everyone that you celebrate felt hats!


I know this is a few days early, but I didn't want anyone to be caught unaware!

And while you're at it, snap a picture and let's see how you celebrated!

I can't disagree with that brilliant logic.

I'll be spending the day at the Indy AMC Theaters marathon, so this fits in nicely!

So... what's different about this day from every other day?

I do work the 15th, but ony for a small part of the day, the rest of the day is work free!

All the things you learn..NEVER even heard of International Felt Hat Day! Well, that´s one more reason to get one!

Sorry, blokes. I don't celebrate Felt Hat Day until the high temperature drops below 70. Sooo.... October 31st, maybe? Chinese Felt Hat Day?

I think it is supposed to be 100 degrees here on the 15th, but I will do my best.

It's Saturday here, and I'm picking up the Blu Ray set of Indiana Jones tonight...So...I think that's more than possible....

Even though outside it's still 35 degrees hot and sunny....
