Not sure if this exact bag has been posted but I did find an earlier post from 2005 concerning another Nomad bag. Hopefully safe to post this.
I recently bought this as a gift for my father and actually bought another for myself:

It's a more modern version of the Mk VII bag. For Indy fans based in the UK, it's quite a good deal and the reviews are very favorable. My father was very happy with his bag, though I haven't received my bag yet but when I do, I will post up some pictures.
Hopefully be of some interest to others here.

No problem.
I'm looking forward to receiving mine. I think it will be a handy modern bag with an Indy vibe. It looks like the strap is attached by clips and therefore could be easy to replace if one wished to do so.
I'll attach pictures once I get it, though it could be in a few weeks as the bag is in the UK and I'm in Asia.

The reviews I read online seems to rate the quality, too.

I will in in the UK tomorrow for a few days- they have a shop near to where I will be, so I'll pop in on Saturday, see if they have one and report back.

I like it. I'd go with the Travelproof Sahara Raider Bag as a complementary bag to a MKVII. Converts from a shoulder bag to a backpack.
Regards,
Indiana Jeff

Yes, these are not bad bags.
They even have a couple of pockets on the back.
It's slightly smaller than a MkVII and the strap attachments are like a MkVI, so you'd have to fit some rings somehow. It does have a zipped main compartment so it's more secure than a MkVII
It also has a bit of embroidery in the bottom right corner, that I made a pigs ear of trying to remove!

Wow...nice comparison picture, thank you for posting. It looks like a really tidy bag, glad I bought it now. Can't wait to get my hands on it. The embroidery adds something, looks pretty smart in my view.

I think KTs pictures tell the story. I did go to the store and can confirm that it is a well made piece of kit. The zipped top would be useful. I might take the plunge as I have to be back in the same town in a couple of days

KT Templar: Did you do anything to the bag apart from removing the embroidery? It looks nicely worn and weathered in the pictures.

Yes, a little, it was just a little bit too 'new' for my liking. I rubbed the raised edges with a cut lemon and left it in the sun for a day or so, then washed it in a washing machine.
Which gives me an idea for my CS backpack...

The "worn" effect looks great. I kept looking at the sales picture and then comparing to yours and the effect is subtle but very well done.

I bought one of these when they first came out 3 years ago or so, and I have only good things to say about it. Even getting the wife one so she can have something compact to carry to work.

Received the custom bag strap:
It's made from Mulberry leather and has a gorgeous smell to it. I had it made to 80" long. This meant there had to be a join, which I wasn't too worried about as it is not meant to be screen accurate but just a "nod" to Indiana:
I'm not 100% sure about the buckle. It is slightly bigger than what I would like, but is a nice cast 3 bar slide:
I was aiming for a raiders look but there is a slight curve on the buckle:
I joined the straps with 2 Chicago screws:

The strap is 1" wide and approx. 3mm thick (6mm when doubled for the returns). I replaced the original bag strap attachments with antique brass effect loops:
Replacement loops:
It has a lovely, rich smell of leather and I'm pretty happy with the overall effect and feel of quality.
