I have been hanging around (read lurking) for a few months now. To say this site is a wealth of knowledge is such an understatement. I must have read threads going back 18 months. I finally decided on ordering a Wested new authentic lamb Raiders. Specs include:
Cotton/Satin lining/sleeves
Brass Zip
Black Slides
Name Tag
Gussets
Tapered sleeves
Extra Inch in length
Peter accepted my order 11/19 but time to dispatch was quoted 28 days 8-[
Did anyone else get a natural high when placing their order or am I just strange? Anyway, I really want to thank everyone for their great posts!

Hey miller, welcome to the new obsession. I gotta say I remember that high very well. I too ghosted the site for a while before saying anything. Like most people here I had been searching for the Indy jacket and hat since I saw it on screen in '81. Being a fan for my whole life I was amazed to find that they do exist and are still made by the same guy. So yeah, ordering and knowing what will be coming in the mail is not only a part of movie history, but the end to a search that lasted pretty much my entire life. Sad thing is when you get the jacket then you only feed the flames and the quest for other gear begins. Wait til the fedora obsession kicks in, so many choices and only one cranium.
