Elbow stretching question

Hi everyone,

I'm a total newbie around here and have a basic question I couldn't find any info on.

I very recently purchased a leather jacket and have noticed that the elbows have stretched out. When I let my arm hang relaxed the leather hangs out away from my elbow in a noticeable way. Is this normal? I guess it's unavoidable as that's just how far my elbow pushes it out when my arm is bent but it just doesn't look... Right.

Thanks all, love the community here :)

N: This is caused by a physical problem called Pointyelbowism . It is a common problem and can be corrected with surgery. I would suggest you contact an orthopedic surgeon.

To add to the above, I think, yes...that is normal.

Leather jacket sleeves 'ride up' with wear, and that stretch in the elbow area is where the stretch/slack normally ends up, so it is indeed normal and usual on a jacket that is used on a regular basis.

Nothing to be concerned about.....unless it's the malady our friend 'trdaggers' mentions.....then that's a whole different story. :-k

Hey fellas,

Thanks for the varying responses haha.

It's not a big deal it's just... Indy's jacket doesn't seem to have the same thing going on.
It's Goat skin. It's an awesome jacket all-in-all, I was just making sure it wasn't made wrong or something!

Cheers!
