Web Belt...

Post by JockThePilot »

I know that Indy's web belt is a fairly standard item, and hence not that hard to find; but I thought I'd give a heads up anyways. I just picked up a Levis belt that is a dead ringer for Indy's, except that the metal end of the belt (not the buckle, the other end) has "Levis" printed on one side. I found this belt at the Bay here in Canada, but I'm sure it's available wherever Levis are sold (more or less). Am I the only one who gets all giddy when I find that new piece of Indy gear?
Regards,
JockThePilot
(P.S.:I did a search for "Levis belt" on the forum and couldn't seem to find anything related. Sorry if this has already been posted. Also, I couldn't seem to find the belt on the net anywhere.)

Jock..I assume you are referring to the tan LC belt? I ask cuz I bought that belt about a year ago, and yes, it is a PERFECT LC belt. I simply undid the belt at the buckle, turned the belt around, so the Levi's logo faces inwards, and no one is any the wiser. A great find, indeed. I wore it daily until I found my chocolate brown Raiders web belt, which I now wear every day.

Since the Bay is strictly Canadian, this info will not help our foreign friends, but there seems to be a growing Canadian population here on COW. Canadian Tire has a GREAT pair of WL lookalike gloves, as well, for about $10.

Thanks for the tip. I really didn't want to order it online for something that cost so cheap. At least with Levis, you get a quality belt.

I think I need to go shopping later today.

Thanks for the tip off on the gloves, I will have to go check them out.
And yes, it is a tan belt, but it works for me.
