My first whip has arrived!

Finally there's a reason for me to post in this forum! I just got my first whip. I don't know who made it, as it was a gift from an American friend from Texas. The leather is quite orangish and the handle is black.
It's certainly not screen-accurate, but it's a great whip to start with.
I already noticed wearing a brimmed hat and gloves might be the smartest thing to do. When I first cracked it, I felt the whip through my rather thick shirt and sweater sleeves, and I definately wouldn't want it to hit my bare hand, or even worse, my head.
As soon as I figure out how to connect my digital camera to my computer, I'll get you some pictures.
All in all, this has been a great year for me, Indy-wise. Moving out with my parents to study Egyptology has really enabled me to build up my collection. In these three months, so far I got a Canadian Mk VI, a screen accurate Mk VII, a French 30's holster (That I will use instead of a Webley holster), an Indyish pilot shirt, and now this whip. Now let's get ready for ordering that Federation at the end of the year (Christmas present to myself)!
