2 pair of AB Aldens - Pics used vs new

A member here pm'd me asking for some pics of my worn AB Aldens. I decided to do him one better and take pics with them along with my unworn pair for comparison.
Both boots are from Marc. I bought the first (now used) pair right after he made the announcement that he was selling Aldens. I bought the second (unused) pair right after the first pair arrived in the mail.

The interesting thing is that there is a different logo inside. I wonder which one is the screen accurate one. :-k

Mine are from the original offer as well (as are your broken-in pair).
I'm also curious about the inner logo difference.
I also recall Marc mentioning a possible COA which I would still love to see!

I am wondering..are these in a color closer to the Alden 403, or 405s? :-k
Hard to determine from the pictures I think.

They're closer to the 403 but honestly this color is just available for the Adventurebuilt Boots. They were a special run made specifically for Marc using the specs and color of the original boots from the Raiders time period. :TOH:

Thanks so much for posting these pics! This is what I have been wanting to see for a long time. What do the AB boots look like when distressed? Do they look like the original Hero boots? Well, based on your pics I'd say that is a definite yes! Compared to this photo...
