We have a new hat to announce, but we don't want to until we have a good name for it. I've narrowed down my idea list to a few top contenders - what do you think? I'm going to decide quick so I can make the announcement!

Please no questions about the hat yet... I'll announce everything after I have a name.

How about the "Out-of-Towner" As In out of town looking for artifacts.

It depends on the hat... Wouldn't make much sense to vote for the "Raider" if the hat looks like an LC

I wonder how many people would be confused by that. But since we don't have a "Temple of Doomer" or "Last Crusader" or "Crystal Skuller" maybe they'd just accept it as a cool name.

Kinda hard to pick a name without any details. If someone told me that they were going to pick between an "Explorer" hat and a "Metropolitan" hat, I would picture two different hats in my head if I only knew the name.

Don't over-think this. What's a catchy name for an Indy hat?

I took "metropolitan" off the list. It doesn't conjure up an image of Indiana Jones. Okay, that's helpful. Forget "Metropolitan". It's an Indy hat.

I'm sorry, I was looking at this thread on Tapatalk on my iPhone and it didn't show the poll so I didn't see the names you had listed.

While I still like the Out-of-Towner

I think The Explorer is a good choice so I chose that.

I personally like Raider as it is plain, simple, to the point and instantly conjures up the impression of Indiana Jones no matter what film.

It's a tough call. I voted for the first one on the list, but I think "Raider: would be my vote if I had to do it over again.

You can change it.

When I removed "Metropolitan" it erased the previous votes, but no matter. You can change your vote anyway.

I picked Raider just because "raiders" is Indy to me. Plain and simple, everything else is window treatments.

If it's 'owned' and registered, it's copyright infringement, and I'm sure Todd isn't the least bit interested in getting into those murky waters, hense the reason I brought it up.

TESS found 8 G&S registered with the name "Raider": A Sikorsky helicopter, a pesticide, a parachute, a backup drive, a metal detector, a crossbow, a motorcycle helmet, and a handheld stereoscopic nuclear detection instrument. No hat.

"the raider" might seem cliched to us, but for Todd to reach the general public I think that's his best bet.
