What is a good replacement lace, preferrably flat, for the Indy boot, and where can I get it?

Look at pricey shoe store Leather Soul (sole?) in Hawaii or Beverly Hills. Ask for the cotton Indy laces.

I've always ordered mine from the Alden's store in San Fransico. Both brown and black laces for my boots. I call them and they usually are shipped the same day. W>

If you aren't near an Alden vendor, call headquarters and they'll send all you want, at $3 or $4 a pair, I think.

Three weeks ago, I emailed the good folks at Aldens about purchasing replacements for my ten year old 405s. They asked for my address and shipped me a set for free!

Soul is correct. It's a play on words.darthjones wrote:Look at pricey shoe store Leather Soul (sole?) in Hawaii or Beverly Hills. Ask for the cotton Indy laces.
