Looking for a little help here.

I have an LLBean goatskin A2-type jacket that a friend would like to use as part of his wardrobe for a play he'll be appearing in. Thing is, to work in the play the jacket will need some "unit" patches like those on Tom what's-his-name's jacket in TOP GUN. I don't want the patches sewn on and then removed, and I'm not really interested in having them sewn on and left for me to wear later. :-k

No-one I've asked has been able to give a solid answer about an adhesive that would hold the patches solidly in place and neither damage the leather nor leave a residue when the patches are removed. :?

Can anyone comment and, ideally, recommend an appropriate product?

:TOH: Thanx,

LJ

Use some single sided stick on Velcro strips. Just use a well know product "Goo be Gone" to remove and anything left over when you pull them off. I did not spell check this!

Rubber cement.
Other stuff will indeed remove finish.

Magnets on the patches n on the inside of the jacket. They sell industrial strength ones at ac Moore n mixhaels. I use that for the ribbons on my uniform
