The stone coloured Cabela's is said to be a really nice option:

Uh, but there's small, or 4xL or 5XL sizes on sale only, and no stone color on sale....

Does anyone know what size is right in Cabela shirts if your regular shirt size is 38?

Are these two diffrent types of shirts?
There are some slight diffrences.

I think the slight colour difference is due to it being another picture, but the buttons look darker in the first pic you posted.

I actually like the colors in the larger picture. I would get one of each.

Well, I ordered a stone and a forest. They seem really nice for daily ware too !

I personally own the Stone Cabela's, and while it only has partial pleates(on the pockets, not full length), the color is great to me, and the fact that it sports the epualets is great. A very funtional and ruggedly built Indy shirt. The ony problem is that it is 35% cotton/65% polyester, so it does feel somewhat stiff and plasticy. I usually wear an undershirt along with it, even when warm out. Good shirt though. You can't go wrong.

I can't wear my Cabela's shirt in the summer. It's just way too hot to wear that type of fabric in +100°F weather. I wore it one day and I felt like Toht at the end of Raiders the whole day (melting). I have yet to try the LL Bean field shirt which doesn't come in Stone, unfortunately, but it does come in 100% cotton.

Here's a possibility.......
No, it doesn't have the full-length trim, and the pockets don't have the right pleat either (they go in, instead of to the outside), but the color, weight, epaulets, etc., seem to be good....

That is an awesome shirt
I've seen it and I've been waiting for the money to start flowing back again to get one.
I'm also hooked on the Bean shirts which are perfect for summer wear. The Cabela shirt's awesome but it's only for the cooler seasons.

I have the shirt in every color but olive. I even have a short sleeve version in stone. In hot weather, I roll up the sleeves. It is one rugged shirt. One thing about it being a polyester blend is that if it gets wet it will dry quicker than a shirt made of 100 percent cotton.

Can anyone comment on the LL Bean Tan shirt (if they have made a fairly recent purchase)? Is it really as dark a tan as it appears on my monitor? I'm torn between the LL Bean tan shirt and the Cabela's Stone shirt. My purchase probably hinges on the answer to the color question...as I'm leaning towards the Cabela's shirt at the moment.
Best,
Chris
