Alligator Bullwhip!

My favorite whips to make are ones with exotic leather handles. In the past I've used shark and sting ray for handles. My latest whip uses alligator for the handle:

Turned out very nice. How did you attach the alligator over the handle? Just glue?

The alligator it attached to the bullwhip's handle in 4 different ways!
1. Cement
2. Tacks
3. Binding
4. Stitching
If you look closely at the last picture at
http://bullwhips.org/?p=4881 on the top of the handle you can see the edge of the stitching.

The pattern in the handle makes it look a bit like a shellacked piece of bamboo, or the like. Interesting!
Congratulations, Louie. Your experimentation with different hides always adds variety to your projects.
