the ideal LC collar??

Does anyone know what separates the LC collar from the rest? I mean what exactly is the difference other than its bigger and rounder? Let's say I asked a vendor " I want an exact or close enough LC style collar" how would I describe it? I'm not an expert on the subject. So what is the LC collar to you guys, just big, floppy and round or are their specific measurements to go by...just a thought

As close to authentic as I've ever seen! ;) :tup:

For this last order, I requested a 3" collar, and since they automatically adjust the height of the collar stand to accomodate a wider collar, I thought it turned out quite well. This particular collar stand is 1". I've always thought it unique, how the collar stand rolls over with the collar, tieing it to its distant screen cousin:
