The scoop on Keppler Feds

Post by iwantamorganreelbad1 »

I am interested on buying one second-hand and was wondering what the general consensus is about Keppler Fedoras. Help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

I don't understand people like you.

Why do you have to be a wisenheimer? People like you make other folks afraid to comment or converse with other people here.

Instead of interjecting that completely useless response you could have pointed the person who posed the question in the proper direction, since you seem to be an expert on the ways of this message board.

And I like how you added the little touch with the emoticon of slamming your head against a brick wall. I hope you do just that.

BTW, phpBB is the epitome of bad "search" function.

Back to the point... iwantamorganreelbad1, sorry I do not have any relevant info for you. I thought I did. I opened this thread thinking you were looking for information on reblocking a Federation IV. So I guess my response is equally as useless.

Arch.

FYI, the 'code' of this site is research. If you are looking for something please use that little search button thingy to see if it's there allready and in this case it really is. there are TONS off related threads to Keppler fedora. Infact, I got 400+ hits resulting in 9 pages.

the keppler fedora has been here since the begining of Indygear and goes back to the day when we were Indyfan and it has been discussed up and down. so alittle reading around the board would probably scratch that itch.

we are all friends here and we try help eachother out but yes, sometimes we use emotions to illustrate our point that the road is right infront of us to see. But, there is no need to bait another person with hoping he ''bangs his head against the wall'' in real life. totally useless comment and this takes it to another level of discussion and I suggest you steer away from that road as you allready said you have nothing to bring to this table other then an arguement it seems.

While I agree that the search function of ANY BB forum is adequate at best, a search of Keppler hat in the fedora section returned over 1200 results. The first 5 pages of which were all reviews. (I didn't bother going beyond that.)

So when anyone asks a very basic question that is easily searchable, a reply of
"use the search function" is not going to be an unusual answer.

We have an entire section dedicated to the fedora. It's there for a reason. ;)

I'm well aware of indyfan.com. I remember Michaelson and lurking that site since '97 or '98. I have been around for a long time. I just never registered until recently or spoke up unless I thought I had something to add or I could not find the relevant info through searching. I just don't think it's fair to treat someone like an idiot for asking a question.

I am on the fence in respects to how to feel about this hobby of ours. Sometimes you want everyone to appreciate it and sometimes you want it to be your own little thing. And I mean the royal "you". Not anyone in particular.

Growing fandom has made the prices of things skyrocket. I once bought a Webley for $89 US. Like new. Now you can't do that. I am guilty of this feeling. Iron Man is my favorite super hero. I have Iron Man memorabilia up the wazoo. But then that darn movie came out and everyone likes it now. It's symptomatic of why it takes 3 years to get an Adventurebilt.

Sorry for making a ruckus. I've said what I wanted. And sorry to threadjack.

Lee,

It's been awhile. Good to see you around. I bought my first hat from you the summer of 08. Is your website up and running? Any new product lines, etc?

I have a problem most of you will have eventually. I'm OLD. e-mail me a condensed version of "Pulling photos off the computer and posting them on Indygear for dummies" and you have got a deal. Failing that, I can e-mail them to you. Contact me at 619-647-6744, or rotla007@aol.com

Just an FYI. Beaver Brand went Belly up a couple of years ago and I sort of gave up. Another company bought the BB name and got in touch with me. The prototype is almost ready. I had it in my hands for any final changes and it went back for one minor change, but boy, what a winner! No offence to anyone from the old BB, but..... Stay tuned! Lee doesn't visit regularly.

Since Tundraider dissolved his COW account, Lee's latest fedora pics and reviews went with it.

Calling Lee is your best bet. Please give us an update! :)
