Terry Jacka replacement crackers and falls?

Post by sithspawn »

Does Terry Jacka sell replacement falls and crackers for his CS whip? I've checked his website and it doesn't list anything.

Send him an email or just buy fall and crackers form other makers who has them listed on their sites. Falls are redhide/latigo falls. Check MidWestWhips or Joe Strain's site. If you ask them for CS fall and crackers they will for sure help you.
If you won't find similiar crackers (I assume that you want to have the same crackers as Jacka ties on his CS whips) then make them on your own. Buy some bailing twine and look for a tutorial. He makes them tapered, but if you look closely you shouldn't have any problems with making them yourself.

It's not difficult to make a tapered cracker, it is however easier to do with some thread, instead of bailing twine, find some size 138

polypropylene thread. I looked at a website called the thread exchange and they had some, I just don't know if you want the "soft"

poly or regular. Anyone care to weigh in?
