Folks,

I had the misfortune of having my 34" waist Wested trousers shrunk by way of a dryer. They now look like kids pants on my 6'1, 190 lb frame and I don't know how to stretch them back to normal size. Does anyone have any creative ideas to get them back to normal size?

They are wool, and not meant to be washed. Dry clean only.... I've found out the card way too!

Being as the suggestions for restoring them haven't flooded in, I suppose I'll call this a loss and offer--free of charge--a pair of formerly size 34/32 Wested trousers, altered for better drape with the belt loops lowered, albeit a bit frayed to the first person who thinks they'll fit in 'em. PM me.

Tragic. I feel your pain. They're fine pants. Hope you've found a taker.

Just to take your mind off it a bit......I wonder if Indy made post-adventure trips to the dry cleaner's. Somehow can't quite see it. Just tossed in the trash can, I guess, and reach for a new pair from his collection all lined up Batman-style in the closet right alongside the replacement shirts (with the exception of CS, where judging by the cleanliness of his pants/shirt in the second half he seemed to be making trips to the cleaner's between scenes).

Thanks for your input. I did find a taker, and hopefully they've received them by now. Regarding dry cleaners, I often wondered how he kept his pants from fitting him like calvary-twill saran wrap without a competent dry cleaner in tow...
