I decided to start a separate thread to avoid gumming up Indiana Joyce's thread.
You might have heard we had a bit of weather here in the DC area. I had to work 40 of the last 48 hours. That's the problem with being in the public safety field. Fortunately, my area was spared any serious damage.
Irish: I got your PM with your sizes. To be sure, go get your feet professionally measured and be sure to convert that to US sizes. Let me know EXACTLY what they are.
When you have funds, my paypal address is urt30@yahoo.com . Mark the funds personal (money owed) so no fees will be incurred. I'll go get them the next day I can and get them in the mail.
Sometime in the future, you'll have to "pay this forward" to another COW member.
Best,
Clark

Clark,
I totally did not think about the hurricane that is causing havoc in your neck of the woods. I sincerely hope you didn't think I was being pushy, which I am not. I am totally grateful for your help in this.
With regards to my feet measurement, I had my feet measured by a podiatrist (or chiropodist, if you will) and the measurements I PM'd you are the measurements he gave me, already converted into USA sizes. Instead of getting a size 9 and 9.5, do you think I should get a size 10 just to be sure? I like my feet to have a little wiggle room anyway.
And yes, I'd be happy to help any other COW member in any way I can! Trouble is, there's not an awful lot of places here in Northern Ireland where Indy stuff is gathered. My total costume came from 4 different countries, England, Denmark, USA and Germany. Hahaha!
And Clark, be safe! I can't imagine what it must be like for you working in such conditions right now. Take care my friend!

Re: Aldens for Irish Jones
The newest crop of shoes seem to be running a bit large. I think a pair of US 9.5Gs should fit you okay, but I'll consult with the staff at the store. A 10D might fit you better.
They also have a generous return policy. As long as you don't wear them outdoors, they'll exchange.
As for the model number, 405 is the model worn by Harrison Ford.
HOWEVER
The 405s have changed color to a more reddish tone. They are not the same boots. The 403 are identical to the 405s except they are a darker, more accurate brown. I own both 403s and 405s.
So, you can get 405s and then dye them a darker brown (that's what I did) or you can get 403s and not have any extra work. Just a thought.

Ok, great news there!
Now, it's probably time for you two to take it through PM and settle the final details.
WELL done, Lukewarmwater.
As he said, Irish, pay it forward when the opportunity ever presents itself.
Regards! Michaelson
