For a smaller indoor whip I would go with one of Joe's 4ft LoneStars. I have a few of them and they are the perfect indoor whip. I talked to Joe about the Mini Indy and by his own admission he says he looks at the Mini Indy as really more of a intro/kids whip to some extent. While I'm sure it's a great little whip and Joe's work is always great - I would go with the LoneStar which is the same length - and for only like 40 bucks more you have a truly great whip.

Also something to consider - Joe's son Tyler is now braiding some really nice whips as well - they are usually listed on the specials page on Joe's site and are cheaper than Joe's work but are really nice and made under Joe's supervision of course. There is a beautiful 4 Foot 16 plait Saddle Tan Indy Style Bullwhip for $295 listed right now.

I second the lonestars, and also I myself noticed Tyler's work a couple weeks ago, they look like they're just fine, so, depending

on what you're looking for, you could get one of the lone stars or a whip made by Tyler.
