Hey Folks: I was wondering if anyone understood why the TOD jacket was cut 2 or so inches longer in the front than the Raiders. And as a secondary question, does the Last Crusade jacket maintain that extra two inches. (Wested Speaking of course).
The reason I ask is, that for cold weather wear I thought maybe the Raiders jacket could be a bit short in the front midrift. I've watched the QM video more than a few times and noticed distinct differences. I was hoping some long time wearers and in Particular TOD Jacket folks could give some reasoning to their decision to go the extra 2 inches.
Warm Regards

My authentic lamb is a TOD. I chose the longer length because I thought it would suit me. It looks better with everyday wear like t-shirts or sweaters, as you don't end up with 3-4 inches of material hanging out the bottom of your jacket.
The raiders length looks best with a tucked in shirt I think, where you can see the belt line, but it often comes over to me as being a tad 'too short'.
In ROTLA, Raven scene, Indy's jacket looks a little longer in the body to me than the standard Wested length, another reason for my choice.
Just my opinion, but I guess the jackets fit everyone in a slightly different way.

New Kid on the Block Here! I got the TOD in Goat because I ride a scooter and I thought it would keep the wind out better as I tend to situp and lean a bit forward. As I've said before I just went into a local mens department and got measured for a suit then sent these to Peter. As some others, my size is not the norm as I'm short with fairly broad shoulders and a large neck, so it's difficult to get shirts that fit my neck and then my arms. Anyway I'm sure you don't care about my odd shape, but Peter's Wested TOD is a perfect fit for me. Also it's a great Scooter jacket although in retrospect for the bike I would have asked for hidden knit cuffs inside the sleeves to cut down on that draft. The goat skin is plenty soft and I've had other jackets in goat that wear like iron. All in all a nice jacket that the extra lenght helps prevent the "plumber's butt" syndrom.
