Help me out here, please. Deb Nadollman (I know the spelling is wrong) spent all the costume budget on some Wilson jackets. If she know the budget for Indy's costume was X, why did she sped it all on jackets when there had to be a hat, pants, shirt, bag, etc, etc, etc? Was she expecting Steven to give her more money?

Because she also knew that most of that stuff would be easily found in the local army surplus stores and HF was bringing his own shoes!

Once the Indy films (finally) make it to Blu-Ray (and IF they might choose to bless us with Bonus Features that include a few retrospective Interviews with the Cast and Crew) they can call the chapter they do with Harrison on the Raiders collection

Well, it could be that each costume piece had it's own line item so she blew the jacket budget, but still had money for the other pieces. Or, it could be that the jacket was the last item and she blew what was left of the budget on jackets and so ran out of money.

Or, based on what's been written here, she wasn't very good at what she was doing and did expect SS to pony up more cash.

While I get you're being funny, the point was that she was not very good at the business side of her job. There is responsibility and accountability. Frankly, I get the impression she never took that seriously and you cannot work for Steven without taking that seriously.

.....especially at that point in his career when he was trying to specifically prove that he could make a film in a fiscally responsible manner. I think that most of his films up to that point had been over budget.
