New gear from Mr. Wade Egan...
Quality....
Real solid quality....
Wade makes some GREAT gear...If you're pondering about whether to call on him or not, do so, you won't make a wiser move ever.
My whip is still in production by Bernardo, so I can't show the holder PROPERLY just yet, but I hope these give some idea about what I'm so happy about getting in the mail tonight...
Great work Wade. Thank you.
(This seems to be what getting good gear makes you do eh? I almost couldn't stop the pose...LOL...

Todd should make something with those large beltloops in next batch of pants.
Awesome gear you have there! Btw, which whip have you ordered from Bernardo? What lenght?

Yeah, OT I know, but my only whip is an 8 plait kip hide from Bernardo. You certainly have something to look forward to. BEST part of being a gearhead is the constant wait for something!
Look forward to seeing that whipholder filled!

Re: New gear from Mr. Wade Egan...
Haha...Yeah, they aren't a huge issue, but the larger loops do mean a leather belt moves a little bit more than it should..With the fabric belts it's less of a worry though.... Wade's Gunbelt would fit through the Todd's loops though...I reckon!!
And the whip is from his new cheaper range..Kip hide used in the centre and then finished with Kangaroo hide for the outside wraps...8 foot...I'm not sure when it'll be finished, but sometime soon I'm hoping..
Thanks Travis...Figured Han/Indy wouldn't mind me nicking their pose(s)...

Thanks Yuji!
I'm MORE than ready mate!
I'm still not sure when Bernardo will have finished mine... I was hoping sometime before summer, but there's been a slight delay, so I'm not sure... That said, as soon as it arrives, I'll email you and head over to Odaiba for some training! Thanks for the offer!
Warmest regards.

Great looking addition(s) to your collection, fifthchamber... and you wear it well!
But since I've already had a few other nice words for you over in the FB World, I'll elaborate here only inasmuch as "saying" the following:

Thanks for the comments here and there Fox! Much appreciated!
And yeah, almost all done on the gear-side (I say that, knowing that it'll never really "end" as such...)... I have the whip coming from Bernardo sometime soon, and a Todd's holster on it's way.. And once they arrive I'll have a "full kit" as it were.... Rather remarkable, since when I joined I was thinking "jacket and a hat would be cool.. But no more.."...
I love this hobby....
Warmest regards.

I am starting to know exactly what you mean Fifthchamber, I started out with a Wested jacket and shirt. Now I have a Magnoli bag with a Wade Egan strap, gun belt, web belt, Wade Egan super whip holder, a Todd's shirt, Bantu Wind jacket, a Todd's Downtowner, Todd's pants, I have a whip on order from Dusty at Crease n Corral, and a ROTLA holster from Wade. Every time I think I am almost done, I find something else I want.

Re: New gear from Mr. Wade Egan...
Hahah...Yeah, it picks up...
I'm almost at a "full set" now...Just waiting on the Bullwhip from Bernardo and I'll have a decent kit I think.. So far it comprises (top to bottom);
Hat - Adventurebilt (KotCS)
Shirt - Magnoli (Raiders)/Azuma (Last Crusade)
Pants - Todds
Jacket - Wested (Custom Raiders/Off Rack Last Crusade)/Todds (Bantu Wind)
Webbelt - Wade Egan (Bronze - Raiders style)
Gunbelt - Wade Egan (+ Super Whip Holder - Raiders style)
Gun - Webley Green Resin (Wade Egan)
Holster - Todds (Last Crusade)
Shoulder Bag - Magnoli (Strap by Wade Egan)
Shoes - Red Wing
And sometime soon; Whip - Bernardo Del Carpio (8 foot - Roo/Kip)
I just promised my GF I wouldn't buy anymore...But...She understands that if she buys more bags/shoes/clothes, then I kinda get free reign to "improve" one more small item at a time...So..It's a mutually inclusive agreement we're working on...
I really do love this stuff..
Edit; (Photo of it all)....

Re: New gear from Mr. Wade Egan...
Strangely..Thinking about it now....In a few years I've also managed to stock up;
5 hats (1 on the way from John Penman), so 6.
3 leather jackets
4 pairs of Cavalry Twill pants
3 "Adventure" type shirts...
2 pairs of white leather gloves
and
2 Web belts
Rather insane the rate it all picks up at....

Thanks to Wade's great discounted prices and deals I've now ordered (and am eagerly awaiting) the following from him:
- 1 Raiders Holster (Wet-Formed & Distressed) in Raiders Tan
- 1 Webley Holster (Wet-Formed & Distressed) in Bison Brown
- 1 Pair of Wells Lamont Gloves (with Distressing) in Size Large
- 1 Last Crusade Gunbelt & Whip-Holder configuration
Can't wait to see this stuff in person!
Like fifthchamber said, Wade's making some GREAT Gear for this Community.

Wade Egan wrote:I've had a lot of interest in the holsters but price seems to be the major issue. So, I've decided to throw an exclusive sale for FB and COW members on the Raiders and Webley holsters. Normally $120-130 I'm doing $99 on both styles of holster. Yes, distressing and/or wet forming is still free to COW members.
We're rapidly approaching Halloween season and come September I will be slammed with orders and wait times will increase. Meaning, I won't be able to guarantee shipment in time for Halloween if orders are not placed in plenty of time. In addition to COW, FB, and repeat customers I get really busy with Ebay orders for Halloween. So this is a great time to pick up a holster in plenty of time for Halloween. We will be producing holsters steadily for the next two weeks so they will be ready for shipping before the end of August.
This holster sale is in addition to the regular 15% OFF SALE on all my items (WG pistol kits excluded) thrown for the month of August. Orders of three items or more qualify for FREE SHIPPING (US Customers Only, International Shipping 50% OFF).
In order to get the discount you will have to email me direct with the gear you would like whereupon I will send an invoice reflecting the discount. Email me with any questions. It's time to gear up for Halloween!

Re: New gear from Mr. Wade Egan...
Good call Fox...
Nothing Wade does is bad from what I've seen and read here.. All of it's really great gear... And yeah, I am biased, but I've been brought round to that view by getting great gear from the man.. So it's "good" bias..
I saw the photos over on Facebook of the Raiders holster... HIGHLY impressive I must say... Please do upload photos when your gear arrives? I'd love to see what it all comes out like eh?
Wade, after MUCH use of the belt and the cellphone case, I would like to say thanks just one more time...
Thanks mate!

Re: New gear from Mr. Wade Egan...
It took me a while to find the time to get some photos taken (so I apologize for the delay), but here's a quick shot of just a few of the pieces of Gear I've picked up from Wade over the last little while...
They're FAR from being the last stuff I'll buy from the man.
Weapon Belt, Holster and Bag Strap all from Mr. Egan.

Yeah. Everytime I think I'm done shopping with Wade, I think of something else. I've got a nice little non-Indy project coming from him that I should get very soon. And guys, seriously, go get yourself some of his regular gear for everyday wear. I've got one of his cocoa colored garrison belts, and it is AWESOME!!!!!
Re: New gear from Mr. Wade Egan...
Thanks buddy! I'll be able to finish your watchband as soon as the right buckle is in. I'm working adding a bunch of regular belts and authentic western gun belts to my site. Should be ready soon.

Fox...That Holster is a work of art dude....Deeply envious..
Travis, anything you'd like to show here would be welcome if others don't mind? (admin? I realise it's not really Indy, but "Indy-inspired"?)... I'd like to see some of it if you get the chance?
I'm currently trying to get a better job JUST so I can afford to get a LOT more stuff from Wade and John Penman...Although I have to "pretend" the job is for my "future"...
Regards.

Just to kind of bring this pic to a thread kinda devoted to Wade's cool stuff, here is a pic of my Garrison belt again.
http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn29 ... 171524.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
This is one awesome piece of leather, and it will probably outlast ol' Hollowpond by a good long while. Its rugged enough to go great with jeans and yet it still looks great with khaki's and a polo or button up shirt! I LOVE it! Wade's sending me a nickle buckle for it as well (it has snaps so that the belt buckle can be interchanged).

That's a beautiful belt, Hollowpond... more great work by Mr. Egan.
Looks like the kinda' thing you'd find Dr. Jones wearing on occasion (if the movies had ever given us a peek further into his closet)
NICE stuff!

Just to further illustrate Wade's versatility and his ability to churn out anything you can dream in leather, I set him on the task of making me a Wolverine style watch band and belt and this is what I got...
Its great! No metal touches your wrist at all, and the whole thing is lined in premium pigskin suede
The belt
Wade scores again!!!

haha! Yeah, the timex was a last minute thing (pun intended). Actually Wade has it right now and is making tweaks to it to make it more SA.
