Hey guys, I've been wondering where I could buy a black strap that we see holding Indy's bag in ToD, LC and KOTCS. All I can see in any place I look at are the brown bag straps like the ones we see in ROLA.
Sorry if I'm not articulating myself too well, I hope you know what I'm talking about.
Thanks!

Re: Black Bag Strap queries....
I had a black strap in bridle leather made for me by a leather company in Texas. http://www.tomthomas.com/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I sent them a couple pictures of HF in costume and exchanged a few e-mails back and forth for what I wanted in terms of length, etc. and was off to the races.

Hey irishjones,
Michael is correct, those straps are dark brown!! However years ago when I first started looking, I also thought the ToD strap was black. I managed to get a very nice black leather bag strap from Indy Magnoli, the only thing I changed was the buckle on it, which I replaced with a Raiders AB buckle. Although not screen accurate and a bit of a mismatch, I have left it on my bag, weathered it a bit and I really like it!

Thanks for the replies guys, I appreciate it. I even got a PM by Wade Egan regarding the strap. Truth be told, if his strap and delivery costs weren't so expensive, I'd get it in a shot. But looking at his stuff, they really ARE, as we say here in Northern Ireland, the bee's knees, meaning they're fantastic. LOL.

Wade does fantastic work from what I have seen!! I was very tempted to swap mine out for one of his strap, but as always it comes down to money.
Good luck with whatever you decide on!

The high international shipping cost on my site is primarily for folks who are not COW or similar forum members. Unfortunately a few bad apples have ruined it for the bunch cause I've been burned for straps and holsters when shipping internationally without tracking and insurance. Sometimes customs just takes the items and destroys them and bot myself and the customer are just out of luck.
I am happy to offer discount shipping for COW member but you have to order direct from me via email not off of my site. I am always happy to work with fellow members to get you the gear you want and since I trust COW members more than the typical Ebay buyer and random customer I am more willing to offer shipping without the tracking and insurance which lowers the cost considerably.
