Just hoping for three things:
Size variations
Zipper on the correct side
Affordability.

I'm aware of one of these, and have a pretty good idea who the second might be. If I'm right, they should be awesome offerings!

May I ask if the non-expert/follower would benefit from waiting on the new goods as opposed to picking up something in the current market? (I have a nice new USW cowhide Hero, but doesn't float my boat, hide-wise)
I love the jackets, but (sorry) honestly don't care about the authentic details that you guys do. Just like quality, good looking, well-made jackets.

Top men......................
All aside, if _ says he's excited about upcoming Indy jackets from reputable makers, then I'm excited as well.

Somewhere _ is excited about?
My guess for one place at least, would be G&B. I hope it's them, their service is fantastic and their products are great.
I'd love to see some new 'Indy related' thing from them.

Very cool info indeed --- or at least upcoming info.
As for Aero - I know they made the Captain America jacket (or at least I think that was the buzz) - and how sweet it looked in some of the screencaps. That's a jacket I wouldn't mind adding to the insane collection of jackets I have amassed.

I'm guessing a FIVE letter word that starts with the letter T and ends with a letter S?
Go fish?

I was right!
Ricks version looks to be an awesome generic Indy, and if Dan carries over his degree of super anal eye for detail into this jacket (and he will) that he does in his other offerings that one will be a winner as well!!!!

Imagine this... by The Raiders jacket, in horsehide, made by Vanson.

_, is that hh a light or dark brown? I'm considering hh for my x1, but that doesn't look like the hide on the pic with the 3 x1 jackets...

Sorry, but no horsehide for an Indy for me... Not enough drape to come close to the look. A great jacket no doubt, but wrong look.

Regarding the Capt. America jacket, is it the Easy Rider or First Avenger version?

Holy Smokes!
All other leather jackets are on hold until I get this one. Perfect for riding the bike. And the Three Nail bike looks like a sweet ride. Thanks for the pics.

The M19 Leather, according to people who have jackets made with it, is a leather that breaks in very quickly, that would make it perfect for the jacket! I assume Dan's version, just like Rick's, is going to be a generic style...

Agreed on all points, bud. I was bent on getting them to make me a T2, then when I saw this I had to make a switch. I think it needs to be a little darker - not sure yet whether it'll end up being done in MI9 or HH. It's just a PERFECT jacket for sitting at Kidd Valley down on Lake Washington Blvd on a summer evening. I got a craving for onion rings...
It looks like either skin would be a winner. Now you've got me cravin' a Kid Valley burger (there's one just down the street from my place) along with an order of onion rings and fried mushrooms. However, too many stops like that and I'll end up ordering the jacket with a reverse taper. Better balance it out with an order of fish and chips from Spuds over by Juanita Beach.

AAAHHHH, Kidd Valley. I used to eat there quite a bit when I lived over there. Brought back some good memories! Ever try Burgermaster in Kirkland?

[quote="_"]More pics of a jacket using the MI9. I agree it is an excellent choice for an Indy jacket. These are pics of my X-Men Origins Wolverine. Dan fired them off to me tonight so I'd have something to keep me warm until the jacket arrives in a few days. Notice how somebody FINALLY tapered a jacket for me?
Are the long front chest zips for ventilation or some sort of weird pockets?
