Hey all,
I was looking through the FS website and noticed the leather jacket they market as a "raider" jacket by mistake. I guess they don't market the expo as a raider due to some licensing restriction. This looks like an interesting jacket and I was wondering if anyone had seen one up close.
thanks Walker

The “Raider” jacket has been around a long time. It was what most companies offered in the way of an Indiana Jones jacket during the eighties. Avirex had a similar jacket and so did some other companies. To most people, the Indy jacket was a beat up A-2. That’s kind of what the “Raider” jacket is. It’s a decent looking jacket with a character of it’s own. As with all FS jackets, the quality of the Raider is apparent when examining one up close. The personality of the Raider changes though, depending on which hide is used for the jacket. If you have any questions, I’d talk to Dave Marshall directly. Cheers

Acutally, my dad was looking at my G&B catologe, and and said he liked the Raider most of all of them, Expo included! Definetly a cool looking jacket, I must admit.

For the MacGyver fans, the Raider jacket is very close to the style he wore in the first few seasons when the show was still good. The lining isn't exactly right since he had a type of flannel lining, but the jacket itself is pretty darn close. I've seen some that have a storm flap on the outside, and his was on the inside. It appears that this one is on the inside too.
