Sorry if this topic has been discussed but I did a search and didnt get any hits.

Love the look of indy but don't want to look in costume for every day wear. Any of you guys dress in the style of indy?

One of my favorite movies is "Men Who Stare at Goats" and the George Clooney character pulls off a modern adventurer look pretty good. Modern field shirt and taupe cargo pants. He wears desert military boots but I am sure Aldens would look fine.

Any other ideas?

that's one of the reasons I bought Wested cloth Indy jacket. I wear my Steele and Jones fedora literally everyday, but pairing it with a leather Indy jacket is just a little too over the top most days. So I do Dickies pleated front pants, wpg shirt, work boots, hat and jacket. Haven't gotten too many "indy" comments, but people certainly do notice the hat...

Please check out the "What I wore today" thread...in the scrapbook section. It is kinda geared to what the gents and the ladies are wearing that is :TOH: Indy inspired on a day to day basis...

Well I know I do, at least wear my clothes in the spirt of Indy.
Cargo pants or taupe colored, military styled kahki shirt or one of my many Indy style shirt, army boots or brown army look alike.
Web belt, and my Indy glasses. For me if anyone gives me "hey you dress like indy, I just tellem, naw I just like his fashion sence. :TOH: ;)
