I am looking for an inexpensive starter whip for my nephew. He is turning 12 next month, and I'd like to give him one. I'm not overly particular over the material (synthetics are okay), but I'd like it to be of some quality craftsmanship.
Does anyone have any suggestions? As for cost, I'd like to keep it in the $50 range. I know that might not be practical or possible, but that's why I ask.

Re: Inexpensive Starter Whips
Hi Mike,
Aussie Saddle in California sells a couple of kids leather stockwhips within your budget. click on the link below, they are at the very bottom of the page:
http://aussiesaddle.com/shootist_whips.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I couldn't think of another option within that budget.
Hope that helps.

Bernardo
