Awesome whip, Michael!

That whip, along with ALL of you other gear, is lookin' GOOD!

Nice, I like how well it darkened up, you got the best of both worlds, first getting the nice "new" indy natural look, now enjoying


the "aged" indy look that you see in tlc or something like it.

There's something very beautiful about a naturally aged, well used natural tan bullwhip. Very, very Indy.
And of course, Joe's whips are top notch!!! Although every whip i make is an homage to David Morgan's classic design ( I don't make any other kinds of whip) - Joe's is the level of craftmanship to which I always aspire!

Thanks, Michael! That whip has aged beautifully! The color is just identical to the Morgan that Lee Kepler first sent me in the late 80's to look at. I thought that Morgan was the most beautiful whip I'd ever seen. Anyway, I'm happy you are enjoying it. You have some great gear there and pull off the Indy look very well.

I would be right now, but my neighbor ( land owner and friend ) let me know today that each crack really bother's her, and out of

the kindness of my heart i'm not going to crack while she is home, and she is home 90% of the day, and it's killing me

I really wanted to be out cracking right now, but i suppose this will give me more time to work on making whips...

My neighbor poked his head outside one day and gave me the evil eye while I was practicing. Since it was early in the day and I was on my own property, I kind of glared back at him, gave a loud crack and thought to myself "Go ahead...come over here and say something..."

Joe's whips are unstoppable, here is mine from 2007



It still looks the same as the day I got it from a fellow COW member.

The hitch is still stiff and tight as a drum!

Hi Michael and thanks!

The color is "brandy" but, in the right light it looks kind of like "whiskey" also. Nothing has changed since the pic I posted, still has the same popper on it . Still tight and LOUD!
