Hey everyone. I did a search and came up with nothing recent. I need a steel toe boot that looks close to an Alden. I would like to pay less than $150 for this. I would be using it for my work when I am out on a job.
Thanks for any info!
Justin

Hey Mustafa,
I wear Canada West 34381's. Doesn't have the toe stitching, but does have the overall feel. I don't know if you can even get them in the US. Very well built boot, quite comfortable, and still made in Canada.
Here's the link to their website,

You can try CAT (Caterpillar) Boots... although I don't think they have any steel toe boots with toe stitching.

Thanks guys! Great looking boots. It looks like i will just have to use standard looking work shoes and wear Indy style shoes when safety toes are not an issue.

How about these.

They are quite close and have a connection to SA in that I seem to remember something about RedWing boots being the original costume boot idea before HF vetoed it by wearing his own Aldens.

Quoted from the boot writeup on the main Indygear webpage:
The costume designer, Nadoolman, had Red Wings as the documented Indy boots and the Red Wings 1905 style work boots look almost identical to Alden 405s, especially in moving film frames before the age of crystal clear DVDs to reference. However, Keppler dogged ahead and through sheer determination and some clever detective work, discovered the identity not of the boot but of the shop where Ford bought his first pair.
