Need a cure for a floppy collar.

Bink, no Cialis or Viagra ads, please!
My oldest jacket is a Wested Lamb Raiders and although I love the feel of the hide, I'm really bummed about the behavior of the collar. It just seems to flop and lie flat. I caught bits of Raiders last night on TV and it reminded me of this, so I figured I see what all y'all could suggest.
Here's a pic that give you an idea of what the collar looks like:
I think the collar stand (what there was of it) just up and died because the collar sort of spreads out like a butterfly collar on a dress shirt circa 1971.
Any tips? Can a collar in lamb be trained?

Your collar looks like a Last Crusade collar to me. It's definitely wider than any Raiders version I'm aware of.
If that's the case, it's laying perfectly for that particular film.

Definitely not an LC jacket though. I bought it from Peter with the "Raiders" spec years ago. While I prefer a LC look, this particular jacket is supposed to be Raiders. At any case, even if it was an LC jacket, the collar stand would prevent it from laying out flat like that. It has actually gotten worse than the pics.
Compare that to a US Wings collar stand, which is much thicker and more sturdy.

Yeah, but the Wings collar is still narrower than what I see on your jacket, so it would stand better.
I'll let other weigh in, but I'm afraid you may be trying to train something to do an effect it was never made to perform.

One thing that may be working against you is a thin collar stand..? Had it been wider, you may not have had that issue.
On the other hand, members have tried to get their collars to do just that, and lay flat like in the opening sequence.

Maybe I'll just have to live with it as an "Opening sequence" jacket.

Seriously, nothing wrong with that plan!

But if a fella WERE to attempt to adjust the collar, what methods might he employ?

I've seen folks wet the collar, roll up and tie in the roll with rubber bands and allow to completely dry.
Not sure how long the effect lasted, but the final results looked good.

This is what lamb does. when you wear it alot it eventually goes limp and 'dead'. Small parts of the jacket like pocket flaps, straps and collarlapels/stand breaks in faster and weakens. Im afraid there is no cure to it. You could give it a cold water soak. It will stiffen abit but it will soften up again. Especially the collar part because the heat from your neck will help it soften up.
