My new Wested lambskin

Bought a replacement for the cow one I sold. This one is dark brown lambskin, a custom fit (which I feel is exactly right). I changed the zip to nickel No.5 as I think that's one of the key looks to the jacket. Size 42. I notice Wested have started using a "sparkly" badge which is nice.

I didn't ask for much special really. Just had longer sleeves than standard, dark brown lambskin (no other skin specifics), sliders not D-rings and a No.5 nickel zipper. Sorry about photo size.

well, I have this ''washed veg tanned lambskin''. it's very dark collor and has a very brown/redish underbelly. I just washed it and it gets loads of character. it's not a shrunken skin. it's at a good thickness, not stiff, good drape and VERY raidersy looking. and that it is veg tanned makes it more durable for harder wear.

I think I have decided, my next will be in this skin.

I've loved both Westeds that I've owned and am tempted to order another, after seeing the beauties that Team Wested is putting out, maybe a LC or a CS. The Das Boot/Dr. Who jacket looks sweet as well...man, I might need another job soon!
