This is fabulous news and very kind of Sarge. I am so pleased this all worked out. Sounds like Sarge has really gone the extra mile with this jacket (and all the other Indy legend jackets he is working on). I will look forward to your comments when you wear it . Again, well done to you and Sarge.

Amazing looking jacket! The leather!!
Sarge really is a quality guy

Todd, please post some shots of you wearing it?

Very nice! That striated lamb is quite subtle too. More like what we see on screen than some of the more pronounced striated leather we've seen. Cool

Thanks for the story. You really are lucky to be alive. What happened to the hit and run b*****d eventually?

Well, one can hope that since the justice system didn't teach him a lesson (or maybe it did, the wrong one) that maybe his conscience kicked in at some point in his life.
In any case, glad that you came out of it ok.

I have to say that first, your life is a miracle. That you are still here to the joy or chagrin of all of us, but especially your kids and Kelly (I think that she should give you extra love just for going through something like that, but take to dinner first). That is one heck of a story! I am glad that you are still in heatlh.
Second, that is one heck of a jacket Sarge had made for you. It really is a work of art. I am anxious to see it on you. Those pocket flaps are grrreat! I hope my jacket looks that good, I think I am still holding out for calf or maybe they will just get young steer or bull, just because it seems like it would be a cool hide to have for a jacket.

I was dithering between a US made version and an imported cowhide legend jacket as I like the look of the scalloped pocket flaps on the import version but the one on your jacket looks much much better and makes me inclined to go for the US made. It's much more costlier for me due to the exchange rate, but if the US made striated lamb and cowhide looks like this I might just go for it...
albeit I just to edit a few more movies to afford them

He never mentioned the jacket, though, so that was new information.
Glad you're still here, old friend.

On topic though? She arrived this morning. Fit is perfect. Threw her in the wash. Cold water. She's going to air dry. Don't want to lose any size.
One comment. I've been laughing. Remember somebody selling a fish story about how real striated lamb getting smoother as it ages? Bwahahaha! You saw how smooth this jacket was yesterday when Sarge took pics? I'll load a few of how she looks after just a cold water treatment. She's too wet to wear. Keep an eye put and I'll post some.
My point is I argued that if it gets smoother it is embossed. This directly supports that we were previously looking at an embossed finish. What you'll see shortly is the natural grain coming out after wear.
Before
After same spot
She's gonna give Yojimbo Jones' TNO Riley-made Raiders a run for over-the-top character. That is, until his gets all smooth?
DANG!

There is just the slightest possibility that he's still gagging from your description of Todd's butt.
Please,

It's nice to see so much harmony and friendship after all the ugly discord of the past weeks and months. Why, it's as if none of the recent conflict ever took place -- it's as if it's all been wiped away from existence.
Golly, it's a miracle what a nice leather jacket can do to brighten the mood around here.

_, I applaud your courage. You are truly an inspiration. Your story has given me renewed hope. I was kind of down in the dumps a bit as I had to cancel my order for a legend jacket due to my failing health. This season brought me face to face with the "Big C" and as a result I've gone under the knife six times in three months. It was bittersweet to cancel my order but I had to put my funds toward my healthcare. Now, with your experience echoing in my mind and heart I am inspired to overcome and rise above. Thank you sir.

(You can use a sugar cookie or shortbread recipe, too, and then use food coloring for the details.)
