I had some material I was thinking of making a sandbag out of with my moms sewing machine, and was wondering, what were the exact diminsions/specs on the sandbag?

Not sure, i'd post this in the prop replication forum, I know "propreplicator" does or used to; make a sandbag. Or try watching Raiders, the scene right before he goes into the temple?

Good luck

PS One of my favorite lines in The Mummy is when Fraser and the girl are talking, and there a sudden gust of wind, he goes

I'm pretty sure that it is 81/2' x 11" same as a piece of paper!

Make sure you get the large eyelets made by Dritz from Jo-Anns fabrics if you can. They have a rivet that goes on each side of the hole (one fits through the other one) and look much nicer than anything else that I tried. Plus they come with a setter if you buy the kit and they were much easier to set due to their construction. If you are using a linen, you might consider doubling the fabric to give it an extra layer and make it a little tougher, just something to consider. Hope this helps.

It's dimensions are 8 1/2" X 11", at least on my Magnoli bag.
