Yes, I'm creating a lot of threads, sorry... I'm doing this to help new-comers like myself identity threads that might help them. I know when I was looking for help, it was nice that a thread was mainly about one thing, in stead of cramming all sorts of stuff under a title that didn't tell me what was behind it. I hope it's okay.

Anyway, I recently received my leather gear from Wade Egan. Unfortunately he must've forgotten that I ordered everything without grooves, because he's put them on both holster and bag strap. But aside from the grooves the leather is just great!

After halloween the grooved gear will be sent back for a replacement, and then I'll probably darken and further distress the holster.

First pic is of all the gear I've received from Wade Egan.

And here is just the belt + accessories.

Very nice gear! Wade's stuff is always a favorite around here.
Personally, I like the grooves (particularly on the holster, makes it more refined looking). But, since it is not what you ordered....

Looks very good! Wade is top notch. Like kwad, I also like grooves for Raiders gear. But everyone has their preferences. All that matters is if you're happy with your gear.

Post pics when you get your replacement gear. :)

Thanks all! I certainly don't regret ordering from Wade.

About the grooves, I ordered grooveless because I hadn't seen the grooves in the movie with my own eyes. After ordering I've seen the grooves on the holster and I've gotten to know k on the run, who says that the manufacturer of the original strap told him that he made very, very faint grooves, K on the run made his with the correct grooves. We couldn't see them on the hi-res pictures on his computer, though.

So I will eventually have grooves, but I'll probably have k on the run put them in since he lives right around the corner, and knows exactly how the grooves are supposed to look. Before sending back the gear to wade I'll compare his grooves with k on the run's, so I might not need to send it back, depending on how accurate they are.

Wonderful looking Gear!
I, myself, am what you'd call a "groovy guy" but whether those grooves are to your liking or not, I remain impressed by these latest acquisitions of yours.
:)

(Great photos from you as well, Tundrarider!)
