Check around locally for a tailor that specializes in leather work and have them tighten that up. You know, 'a stitch in time...'

_, I am tempted to try it myself. I've been a musician for twenty years and do most of my own guitar repair. So the thought has crossed my mind. It's just that this baby, although second hand is brand spanking new. I dont believe the previous owner ever wore it. So I am not that brave with this one. I suppose I just need to know that it can be easily done.

I have a Wested LC with the same type of stitching gap, except mine is up near the bicep.
I don't like the looks of it, but, It is still holding strong.
One of these days I'll get around to fixing it (as _ described).
If you can do your own setups and repairs to a guitar, you definately have the patience to fix a loose stitch!
(It's much easier than replacing the 5 way switch in a Strat
)

I guess you are right. I've had my share of home built Frankenfenders. I suppose I'll leave it as it is for a while and give it a shot.

I agree about letting a tailor have at it. The previous owner probably never noticed, and since it's new, there's no point in taking chances.

Point taken Chewie. I'll probably run it by a tailor and see what the cost would be. I did find that the lining has the area that _ was talking about and that it was actually on the sleeve that needs attention. So I may at least attempt to separate the lining and see what I can learn.
