If I may say...it takes a big man with a bigger heart to say words like that and mean them. I hope that all that are involved can sense that. I am not involved in any of this but I sense it. Hats off to you big P. And double hats off to those who accept them whole heartedly. I feel that golden days are ahead for this hobby...

No need for me to add anything else. I'm glad you stepped back, I accept the apology and I won't bear malice toward you. I'm just 22 but I'm old enough to have learned that there is no reason to suffer rage and bad mood because of the Internets. We often tend to exaggerate with words and cross the line, while online, and give people a portrait of ourselves that doesn't match at all with who we really are.

So, I'm glad everything is settled and I wish good night to you all, my dear American correspondents :D (it should be midnight over there; here in Italy the day has just begun)

(EDIT: well no, it's late at night, if the forum clock is correct. well, whatever  )

Bravo.

I sort of know where you're coming from - as I mentioned in some other thread, I was once part of the dreaded NIM. Over the years between then and my recent coming-back to the hobby, I've spent a lot of time thinking about how... well, pointless it was to be so... abrasive and troublemaking? Which is not at all what I'm saying about you, _ - regardless of your attitude you're at least providing valuable services to the community. I'm just saying, I've come over the years to realize that bickering and arguments are ultimately kind of silly and destructive (both to communities and to ourselves). It's also why I'm so fed up with politics and all this divisiveness that they force down our throats in the name of some votes, but that's another story altogether. A good debate or discussion is excellent, but the temptation to let it devolve into something bad is always there...

Anyway, I guess what I'm saying is, growth is hard, especially that first good long look in the mirror, but it's always worth it and I always admire people who try (as I have been trying). :TOH:

Okay, that's enough incoherent 5 a.m. rambling.

_, I think that has to be the most eloquent and sincere post that you have ever posted that I have read.

I have not been involved much in the jacket threads, and to be honest with you, I rarely post in that table, but saying that, I always have and continue to be interested in what you have to offer.

I know that there are some out there who may think that some of your stuff is made up (sorry, just trying to use a ladylike expression) :D but I do think that you are genuine, and I thank you for all that you have shared with us thus far. :TOH:

_ I have not missed anything in all your caterwauling discussions with Yojimbo Jones, and I don't remember any glimpse of 'baggage' on his part. He is not here to defend himself so... expound if you will or refrain from throwing feces.

I suggested you refrain because in YJ's case the mud slinging doesn't stick. He is not here to call you on it.

Nobody is getting slammed 'over there' btw, your name doesn't come up. Let's enjoy this hobby and move on...
