I just received an email reply from Sgt Hack that the $100 discount still applies for COW members toward the Collector's Edition Indy jacket! -This is the one made from the tannery that did the KOTCS jackets.
He also said the the Arkansas State Lottery is buying this and the Hero jacket as a prize for one of their games, and that the jackets may be offered to other States' lotteries as well.
Looks like Indy is still popular!

It'd be great if Sarge or Myke would post that directly, as they each have an open account here. It's helpful when vendors post the information directly, as it cuts down on the confusion.

Yeah...I'm so confused about everything.

I was one of the first (at least on the thread I think) when the Legend was first being talked about as the Cooper, and was going to be offered in CALF.



At the time, the price was $395 or $295 for us here. Now they have the jacket for $295 on the site for the imported. Does that mean we get $100 off that...so the import jacket is only $195 for us?

I guess I'm still on the list, but haven't heard anything from Wings since I filled out the emailed form a month ago or so...and was still going for CALF...

Well, to help keep the confusion down, this thread is talking about the standard Collectors Edition (CE) cowhide jacket discount that has always been offered to COW members.

The second comment was about the 'Hero' jacket being picked up by several State Lotteries as a prize offering.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the Legend project.

As most COW members are aware Michaelson and I are very close Friends and Yes we do talk one on one.. For the record I am proud to be a member of COW and fully understand why some people are disapointed with why we do what we do some time in busines but I as the owner of a very large company have to look at the total picture and what is best for all my employees that count on me in these very hard times.. Yes We will contune giving discounts to COW members because we trully love and honer the Fans.. I have always said there is a little Indy in all of us and that I mean.... One can never put some one down to put yourself up.. Hate does not make you strong.. I know because I have been there.
We will honer the Collectors price as long as the Cows come home.. For those of you down south you understand what I mean.. Forever!

The Indy Hero $ 195.00 is a killer price and that will stay.. Now the Raiders Legend.. Now put this in Blood!! $ 100.00 discount for COW members.. Import retail or USA Retail.. Meanining what is posted online take $ 100.00 off that price! I think that is a fare price Now for COW members off shore meaning out side the USA... If they are a COW member in good standing with Mike... and Michaelson they will receive a 50 % discount on shipping. We want our brothers all over the world to enjoy the hoppy.
Now for the rest of this Book.. Two years ago I made the Officially Licensed Indiana Jones Crystal Skull Jacket for MDI and four State Prize Point Lottory after they were making some knock off made in China jacket.. Michaelson called me and I called Lucas!!! The Jackets were the US Wings Collectors Indy Jacket... I was ask not to talk about it and I did keep my word.. We will start making that Jacket again along with our Hero Indy.. MDI still has the Official License and US Wings Inc. still makes the Indy Jackets for MDI.. US Wings Most likely will be awarded the Official License for the Raiders Legend.. If Not we stll will make the Official Licensed Indiana Jones Jackets for MDI and State Lottory Prize Points.. US Wings is not a small Business But never too Big not to help our Friends at COW.

This is great news! I've already reserved two of the kids jackets! Sarge also said that the kids Raiders jacket will be in Naked Cow, and in the legend pattern!

I'll be passing on the offer, though, because I got my Collectors Edition Vintage Cowhide a year ago and couldn't be happier ...

The discount you offer to COW members is very generous. You don't owe us anything, and yet a 100.00 off. That is not insignificant. Most discounts I have seen are 5-10 %. I have been looking for a good alternative for my current Wested raiders and this seems to be the one. Thanks again!!

Just got an email from Sarge, and he wants me to relay this info;

How about doing me a favor.. Let any and all COW members know that if they did pay by PayPal that their account will be adjusted before the jacket is sent or just do what You did and let us know via E-Mail.. I did the discount and come to think of it.. Don't know if I told him before hand.. I do things like that all the time!! Keeps all the troops guessing what I'm going to do next!!

So, it sounds like Sarge made the decision to discount and didn't let Myke know...I paid via paypal (the full amount) only to find out 2 days later that there would be a discount. Sounds like they are gonna make it right though!

Been eyeing the Legend Jacket for a while since I bought the Hero AC not too long ago. I emailed Sarge giving him my measurements and he did pick the perfect fit for me as you can see in the Hero thread. Now with his offer, looks like I'll be shopping again.

I of course wear the Hero Indy a lot and now today I found out our First major shipment of the Raiders Legend will be ready for shipment the 29th of Oct. and right after that Our thick striated Lamb will be ready.. Looks like we will start shipping all COW members their Raiders Legend Jackets long before X-Mas... Looks like at last I will have my own Legend!! BTW any and All Legend Jackets along with the Collector's Edition will receive $ 100.00 discount and the Kids Raiders Legend will receive a 50 % discount.. off the posted retail price! ( To COW Members only) I am sure this will help all my friends have a better X-Mas.

This is just amazing. To think that there is someone out there who appreciates us so much. Sgt is a businessman. Businesses usually merely exist to make as much money as possible. But it is such a breath of fresh air to see someone who can run a successful business, deal with the stress involved, but is still able to understand his fans by actually being one himself. The "little" people. That's a labor of love. You don't come by that much anymore. What a great guy. And the concern he shows for his employees makes him a sweetheart, even though he's probably a beefcake, with a name like Sergeant. And to take the time to write such an extensive message... Hopefully by the new year I'll be able to take him up on his generous offer. All this time and I have yet to plunge into the waters of the Indy jacket yet. Cool!

That is great news indeed!

The irony of all this is that U. S. Wings was the very FIRST vendor who lined itself up with this site when it first came 'online'. Thing was, Wings was never taken seriously all these years, but still stood by 'us'.

It's nice to see folks finally realizing they've been one of 'us' from the very beginning. They deserve that recognition.
