PJ, do you mean for this to be a classified ad? If so, you might want to post this in the classified section instead.

It seems to me that he's wanting to get our opinions on what he should do with the hat before he posts a for sale ad. And I think we should see pictures first

Re: Todds uptowner fedora selling tips
Well my main question was for the advice but I thought since I mentioned about selling it I thought I may just add that but after I figure out what to do with it it will go up in the bazaar for sale. I was just needing some advice to whether I need to change anything on it or not. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the clarification, PJ. When you have your answer and you're ready to sell it, be sure to place it in the bazaar.

Thing about rabbit hats is that once you put a crease in them, it is difficult if not impossible to take them out. Best thing to do is to follow the creases, wherever that leads you.

Without a block, true. If you are do-it-yourselfer, I recommend finding a block. I was able to rehabilitate my Fed IV by soaking it down and putting it on my block for a couple of days. It took a new crease very well after that. Suitable blocks can be hard to find, though.Texan Scott wrote:Thing about rabbit hats is that once you put a crease in them, it is difficult if not impossible to take them out. Re: Todds uptowner fedora selling tips
Personally, I would sell it "as-is" and be done with it. There are a lot of fans who don't know or care which specific bash is used. They just want an Indy hat! Good luck with your sale!

Be sure and post some pics so people know exactly what they're getting into also.
