Blurry photo or not, looks to be a beautiful jacket.

One of these days I'll spring on a Magnoli. The more I see, the more I like.

Love his stuff. Every time I look at his site I feel like a kid drooling at the window of a sweet shop. Really want one of his Edwardian smoking jackets .....

Cowhide - nice weight to it. I've handled the goat as well and I'm tempted to get one of each.
Thanks. Problem with so many great looking jackets is trying to decide when to wear them all. ALso, In another thread, you mentioned you used Acetone (I think) on your jackets. Is this for distressing and did you do that to this one?

Never did care for the way Oakleys fit. Always felt like my head was in a vice. Never had to worry about them falling off though.

Man, and all I ever get at meetings/workshops/conventions are crappy plastic travel mugs. I guess that's what I get for working in Higher Ed.

My aunt and uncle, both now retired, never had kids and have lost more money than I'll probably earn still serve McDonald's sugar packets in their crystal sugar bowl. I commented on it once to my bride. Her response, "How do you think they afford the crystal?"

Some of the richest people I know are the cheapest I know. My brother-in-law told me about an article he read in Forbes or some such money magazine about some "captain of industry" that said if he ever paid full retail for anything he was getting ripped off. He always found a discount or better a way to get it for free.

A vast improvement on the last shots. ;)

Love the look of the leather....and the fit looks amazing, but you're going to have to stay the same size for a while - Maintainance only workouts. ;)

How about some poses? Ed Corney style..

Just out of interest, which side is the zipper on, with it being made in New Zealand? I had no idea before the Wings saga that zippers in the US were on the other side to the UK.

Those close up shots really show how nice this jacket is. Whatever you do with that Acetone to the leather makes it look great. Like a well loved jacket.
On the topic of cheap rich people - i taught a student once who came from a very well known wealthy family - you would know the last name if I mentioned it which I won't. Anyway her rich grandmother used to take all the free soaps and shampoos from her travels (air plane first class kits etc) and wrap them up and give them to people at Christmas - so you would get those pillows and little soaps from a woman who could afford to buy a soap factory....

Awesome looking jacket Todd!! Maybe once I get a an Indy jacket that I think is "The Jacket" I can move on to to a Wolverine jacket.

One question though, your in my neck of the woods and you were not hot wearing that jacket yesterday at lunch time? It was cool yesterday morning and I wore a fleece pullover to work in the morning but it was gone by 10:00 am. I couldn't imagine wearing a leather jacket yesterday afternoon around here.

_, that is one freaking heck of a jacket (that's about as strong a words as I say here in UT  )!! That hide looks beautiful and the stitching looks so straight and fine. Magnoli does amazing work, or maybe he is amazing at finding people who do amazing work for him. Anyway, I would definintely say that that is an heirloom quality jacket. It looks terrific on you! with that said maybe I should ditch the USW jacket and save up longer and then convince my wife that a Magnoli is the one I need to get... :[ .

I rode my bike downtown to meet her for lunch. And besides - new jacket? A little sweat helps break em in! ;-)

That makes sense to me!

Oh that'd be fun to bring my lil Indy to a summit. I may be 2 years before I can. We're heading to Mexico next year to take him to see my husband's family in November. But maybe in 2-3 years we can take a family vacation out to Cali for the summit. :)

Very nice jacket. Love the leather and the stitching looks superb in those close-ups. Everything I bought from Magnoli was top notch and, judging by the pics, his jackets must be very well built too.

Actually the original is right hand zipped for this one... Good to see he also corrected the bi-swing back to be the accent color towards the inside instead of the incorrect outside accent of your first one. The stitch line is still wrong there, but all-in-all nice custom attempt.
