has any one ordered a custom sized jacket from wested? just curious how long it takes to get it from time or order to the time you recieve it in the mail.

A lot of us here have ordered custom Westeds. How long it takes depends on if the leather you want is in stock, how much of a list you have is being customized and the time of season when they get hit up with large orders. The one I got last year (which I since sold off) took me about 2-3 months.

Both of my custom Westeds took about 1 month. (Raiders HH February 2009, ROLA WG November 2009)

My custom ROLA took 19 days from order to arrival. Placed the order March 10, and received the jacket on March 29. No special mods were requested (such as yoke-to-sleeve seam placement). Just a straight-forward custom.

I've ordered two, both took about a month from time of order to time of delivery. Both were standard customs, with some minor requests that were ignored. Customer service was much better in 2006 when I ordered the first. Second one came in 2008, but communication was much worse. I didn't receive any kind of shipping notice the second time around; it just showed up at my post office one day.

I ordered a custom ROLA this past spring and it took about 10 days from the time I ordered it until it arrived.I love that jacket.

Ordered mine on March 10 arrived on April 28. Custom order ROLA washed goat.

My custom novapelle Raiders jacket ordered in 2008 actually arrived quicker than the OTR Raiders authentic lamb jacket ordered a few months earlier of the same year. The custom took 19 days to arrive from order date, they did ignore my request on the sliders instead of d-rings, the OTR took 5 weeks.
