does anyone know where you can buy a solid brass web buckle? on all of mine the brass have the rubbing off

I have bought my last web belt on eBay from member skylight16 wich have a shop called Fool's Jooles.

I've choose the predistressed one and I have to say that it seems to be solid brass: I used some fine sandpaper to it to rub off some of the distressing and no clear metal have seen on surface.

Also, locally speaking, most military surplus stores will carry both the plated and solid buckles. You could also try places that sell uniforms for boy scouts and the like.

But for mail order, there's US Wings, Brigade Quartermaster, and possibly even Todd's Costumes... to name only a few.
