any tips on how to darken the leather, i got the pumpkin orange color and was wondering if brown shoe polish would darken them or should i just use mink oil?

Try the search function. I typed in 'darken boots' and had no less than 99 hits on the topic.

You're preaching to the choir, chief! If you hadn't said it, I would have. My comment was in jest, and indicating that the search feature is a COW member in and of itself!

Now that I've reread my comment, it DOES sound as if I was indicating that you were being impersonable. Nothing could be further from the truth however. Folks need to learn early on that the search feature is your friend.

Being a moderator of masonforum.com, nothing infuriates me more than question #1 in the FAQ section constantly popping up as a new thread. I try like #### to nicely point them toward the FAQ or the search feature, but sometimes my impatience gets the better of me.

Anyway travisking, the answer you seek is readily available, as I believe both Michaelson and I have contributed to threads discussing the very question you had.
