Lego Indy
I was just in Southern California an stopped by legoland. I don't know if anyone's posted pic of this before:
They had a lego everything (white house model, etc) but somehow couldn't do a bullwhip and idol.

Re: Lego Indy
I'd be flattered Louie.
They can make Lego ANYTHING...but they got to something YOU do well, and said, "we ain't tackling that!"
Thanks for posting, by the way. I'd never seen this.

Re: Lego Indy
Wow! One more reason to try to get out there next year. Don't they have some kind of Indy-ish ride there at Legoland?
Re: Lego Indy
It's an Indy-like ride, I think it's called the Adventurer or something like that. I think that Disney has the rights to the "Indiana jones" name when used as a ride.

Re: Lego Indy
It looks like whip from most comics and posters - no fall and cracker tied to the body Great finding Louie!
Re: Lego Indy
It's a fall, it's just an integrated "Texas Style" fall that is TYPICALLY the actual START of the braid, (that type of whip is usually braided tip to handle, rather than handle to tip, as Australian whips are.) I own a couple like that.
This type of whip is sort of a hybrid between the Morgan designated "Mongol" and "English" whips, as the wide fall is designed for slapping unruly animals without cutting or bruising them. Not as easy to crack as a tapered Australian style fall, but they will do the job. I known folks who buy this type of whip and then taper and bevel the fall down to something more "Australian," or tie an Australian fall onto it.

Re: Lego Indy
It is awesome! I went to Lego Land Chicago about 2 or 3 years ago. I saw a Indiana Jones statue just like that. Now that I see it, I think, "If only they had accuracy on the suit!" Now they have to tear it down and fix the not accurate stuff. Really cool!
Who else wishes that Lego Indiana Jones came back?
