I found this in an antique store close to home. It's size 7 5/8, has a nice Indy sort of look to it, but I know so very little about such things. Would this make a good Indy hat block?
I didn't buy it (not my size) but I can pick it up if someone does want it. Shop is asking $60 for it. It comes with the flange shown but the two are not the same size.

I would think the experts would need to see the block from all four sides. Fedora has shared so much about how the blocks are not symetrical all the way around so seeing multiple angles would be necessary.

Who cares if it makes a perfect Indy block or not, if it were my size, I'd snap it up! That would produce a beautiful vintage fedora!
