Which is the best choice for Raiders and LC leather? Subjective, of course.

Well, for Raiders, despite all of the fireworks lately, the shrunken lamb is the way to go to get as SA as possible. In cowhide, I think you'd be hard pressed to beat the 747 cowhide as far as the Raiders look and drape.

For LC, when I asked Tony this question, he said that the dark CS cowhide gave the best LC look and, when I got mine, I had to agree.

There is also the vintage goatskin for LC, like the one Han Jones has which is, in my opinion, outstanding.

Going by photos posted here, I think the Italian Goatskin works best, but the Dark CS Cowhide is a good second option. That's speaking visually and to my own specific tastes.

Well the best choice is really what you like not us. We all have our opinion which is best. Only you can decided which is best for you. 

My two cents,  dark crystal skull cow for L.C.  Raiders lamb is best but 747 is great as well. 

...I think there may be an oiled calf skin on the way too....
