Club Obi Wan

I just picked this up a few days ago. It's my first gun. It's actually a "Royal Hong Kong Police" model .38. Not an Indy gun really, but for me it's a close-enough for now pistol. Besides, I think it's got character and a rather interesting history of it's own. Thanks for looking.

I think we all assume that Indy kept his revolvers and pistols to only one or two, but even by his own admission he went through these things like water - always loosing them in fights or after he had thrown them at some nasty or other when he ran out of bullets..

I recall seeing him with one of these beauties in his holster while he was fleeing a marauding troop of angry Khamag Mongols on the desolate eastern Mongolian Plains..

You done good DeWayne, That is one cool piece you got there.

If you plan on shooting it with any frequency, just be glad that it is a .38 rather than a .455. Much easier on the pocket book!

Texan Scott, I got this at a local dealer about ten minutes from my house, "Wild Bill's Old West Trading Co." They're in Elk Grove, CA and have been for a long time. Great selection there. Very nice people and it turns out the current owner actually lives within walking distance of where I live now.

I didn't do any distressing Raidersince81, this is exactly how I got it. It's distressing is most likely from the years it saw as a service pistol for the Royal Hong Kong Police. This pistol just has a ton of character, which is why it caught my eye. Considering the awesome guns I know some of you have here, it means a lot that you like the looks of this one.

Nice looking firearm Dewayne. It does scream Indy and could be the basis of the FBI .38 airsoft replica that many here have purchased.

Nice Coyle Raiders jacket too, wish mine looked liked that.

My first Indy gun was a pre-war S&W Model 10. That's before I got educated on Indy's proper firearms!
It looks like a copy of the model ten. It should give you good service as an Indy gun and a self defense firearm too! Enjoy!

She's a keeper IMO.
