Little dark, but for 3 shirts, you can't beat that price!

Actually, that shirt is a bit darker than the Noel Howard one. :TOH: Great find! :notworthy:

Theyre a 50/50-type blend. Be aware of that before you order. 50/50s never quite get that 100% cotton lived-in look.

Went to Sears today and the only had th white version. Does anyone know how linen would react if dyed, I was thinking of using the NH dye bath, only I won't have to remove color.

I would think linen would take to the dye fine. From the RIT Dye website:

Q. What types of fabrics can I dye with Rit Dye?
A. Rit will dye most washable fabrics, including 100% cotton, linen, rayon, wool, and silk. It will also dye synthetics such as rayon, nylon, and acetate as well as fiber blends with at least 60% cotton or other dyeable fiber. (Blends will tint evenly but will not achieve full color.) There are fabrics, however, that will not accept dye, such as fabrics with 50% or more polyester, 100% acrylic, fiberglass, metallic fibers, fabrics with rubber backing or special finishes such as water-repellent fabrics with bleach damage or extensive staining, and fabrics that are washable only in cold water or labeled "dry clean only".

I had a custom Indy shirt made in white cotton and used the Dalexs technique and am pleased with the color results.

Indiana Jeff

http://www.duluthtrading.com/store/clot ... product_36#

Without a doubt, the Duluth Adventure/semi-Indy shirt is my all time favorite, of any Indy or close enough shirt. I was fortunate enough to lach onto one of these last year, during a clearance sale. Though it doesn't have epaulets and is taupe, it is a light weight, 2.8 oz. cotton poplin material, light but tough, with vertical stripes, a bi-swing back and gussets. Buttons are similair to the LC style. My only regret is that I did not buy 2 more.

During the winter, I was working with their customer service in an attempt to have them modify the pattern, by adding epaulets and offering a light khaki color. I had send the CS agent photos of my NH shirt, and explained how close the Duluth shirt already was to the movie piece. I mean, it was that close to the real deal, yet it still captures the spirit of adventure. The CS agent said she would forward the info., but it apparently did not come to fruition....5 out of 5 star reviews from 10 different people.

If any of you know anyone at Duluth, maybe you might be able to grease the treads a little? I haven't given up hope, but may have hit a log jam. The product #72001.

If anybody wants the American Eagle Military Shirt as posted above, they're on clearance right now and they're $10 cheaper.

Hmm, I think I'd rather have a cabela's. I know those are tough and will last.

I just don't know what size shirt I wear anymore! I need to go to some stores and try some on.

And it's on sale. Think I may snag one...

There's a better picture of it here:

And it's a bit cheaper on Amazon too if you're an XL or XXL.

To bad these aren't still available in M, the Desert Kahki and even the Loden look like nice shirts.

Anyone if anyone else is selling either color in M.

Just got my Perry Ellis shirt. It's a beautiful piece and the color is spot-on Indy, not as Yellow as it looks online.

But also, the one I got has no epaulets, which are clearly visible online...

...I'm considering calling and inquiring...

Here's another close-enough from Red Square Clothing Co.

Although for the price, I'd go with the real-deal :|

Just got the chance to purchase two of these shirts. On line their at 34.99 but at the store their at 32.99 and till sunday (the sales clerk belives) it's but one, get one free. I bought the earth brown and dusty olive, I've got plenty of kahki, so I thought I'd try a different color. If there still ther I might still buy another but I'll wait to they discount further.

The shirt it self is very comfortable, nice and soft.

Where do you see this? Online or in store? Both? I don't see that deal mentioned on their site.

It's not on the site, only in the store. On site there going for 34.99, now you might want to call first as this 2 for 1 deal might be ending today Sun the 11th, or it might not be, the clerk wasn't sure.
But i gotta admit, this shirt is nice, I'm wearing now and when I went out side in 80 + degree weather w/humidity, I felt very comfortable and my sleeves were down, not rolled.

Nice shirt, I'm finding that linen is a very comfortable shirt.

Ah. Call me lazy, but my desire to run out to Gap is pretty much nonexistent... So much prefer online shopping to brick and mortar. No people.
