Old and New style Morgan in Cowhide

Post by classicbullwhips »

Hey all,
As many of you may already know I just recently completed a modern looking Morgan Style Indy whip in cowhide. But along with that I updated the look of my Raiders Version that I offer in cowhide as well. So I figure what better time to get some side by side pictures of the two of them to share. Remember they are both in cowhide.

Modern Style Morgan 10ft

Raiders Style 8ft

Full Whips Side by Side (Raiders on Left, Modern Morgan on Right)

Handles Side by Side (Raiders on Top, Modern Morgan on Bottom)

Let me know what you all think and go check out my site for new lower price for cowhide whips.

Keep Crackin,
James

I like both but the taper on the modern one is absolutely spectacular! Good job!

I think both look really good, especially the raiders. Great work.

Thanks all for the compliments, I have been working really, really hard to put out one of the most S/A Raiders and New Morgan Indy whip in cowhide as possible (there are others putting out cowhide versions but they are not as Raiders/Morgan accurate, skiving on the strands and the handle stock is not correct for the Morgan style of whipmaking; also cowhide whips on occasions can be a little on the light side (one of the same problems that I had with my cowhide versions early on but have now corrected)) Check out more pictures of these whips at my site http://www.classicbullwhips.com along with the new Lower prices for these style of Indy whips in Cowhide.
