I recently received my LC whip from Midland Whips. It's a great whip and he did a great job! It cracks very well. Since it's still new it's a bit stiff so I need to use it to loosen it up. It's a 8 ft kip hide in natural tan. Here's some pics

I asked Graeme to make the butt knot like this:

and he did a great job! :

Thanks Graeme! :D

Very nice!
He did an excellent job on that knot.

I really enjoy each time pictures of a new whip by Graeme is posted
(mainly because it means I'm one step closer to getting mine :D )

BTW, Noah, nice jacket too.Is that a Todd's?

Wow ! That looks great, LC in natural tan. Looks like Graeme is striving to make versions from every Indy movie. A TOD version would also be way cool!

Cheers!

Congratulations and enjoy the whip!

I'm very happy with my Raiders whip from Graeme. It is easy to crack and lends itself to great combo cracking. You will probably be equally as impressed with yours.

I was soooo close to ordering a TOD..........Then a LC............Then a TOD again......etc..
(I ended up ordering a hybrid of the two :D, can't wait to see it!)

I was also really close to ordering a TOD and I would change my mind back and forward until I decided on LC. The handle has a little taper so it is almost like a TOD, and they're both really similar. I will definitely enjoy it!

Here are some updated pics of how the whip looks now. I've had it for 5 months now. It's gotten darker. I haven't coated it with Pecard's yet, other than the fall after every session. I'm really liking this whip Graeme! :D

I'll post more pictures once I coat it with Pecards. :)

Noah, Thanks for posting up the new pics.

That looks great!
After seeing how well your whip is aging, I'm glad I decided on the natural!

It's hard to believe it only took 5 months for it to darken so much.

Thanks kwad! I'm sure you'll be happy with natural tan. I like how it starts off light and slowly darkens. I added a little Pecards to the ring knot to make it a little darker to see how it would look.

I'm sure after a coat of Pecards the whip will get even darker. :)

Wow Noah, I love the way your whip is changing color. You haven´t used Pecard yet? I perhaps have overdone it a bit. But then again in my neck of the woods the climate is hot and dry in the summer, so an occasional slathering is warranted, and of course always keeping the fall conditioned. Still I have been told to go sparingly on the Pecard. Less is more as it turns out. Anyway here goes a pic, which I may have posted on another thread. Can´t remember. Anyway for the sake of contrast just check out Graeme´s avatar, that is my whip!
