Easter 'n' Whips

Post by giovanniceleste »

Dear friends, it's with great pleasure that I post in this thread some pictures of my stay in Florence where I had spent my Easter holidays together with Emanuele (lelec2) and his wife. Thanks again for your generousity and hospitality Emanuele, I've had some fun days although as everything fun unfortunately it ended too soon. :(

Me and Emanuele had finally the pleasure of meeting the legendary 'Erri', great expert on the subject of hats!!!
In the tight schedule of meet-up and tourism me and Emanuele managed to organize a whipcracking session, videos were taken and you will be able to see them very soon.
What else can I say, I hope I can repeat this great occasion.

Enjoy... :D

"legendary" and "expert on hats"... are some big words my friend
but thanks for the compliment :TOH:

It was a pleasure to meet you both, guys (and your girls too). It's too bad I had to leave the next day and we only had an hour. Looks like you two had some fun whipcrackin' around.

Giò I thought you would have posted this in the scrapbook but I see why it's in the whip section, it's a whipfeast! Email me some other pictures if you have them, I remember posing for at least 10 of them

PS

my new hat looks better on you...

Looks like you guys had a great time! How's my old Morgan Gio? Do you use it much or keep it for display? And how is Erri's cracking coming along these days? Seems like years since I was in Florence...oh, actually it WAS years!

It was years indeed my friend. My whipcracking has not improved since because I don't really practice, unfortunately I only met Gio and Lele for less than an hour. The next day I had to leave for Easter so I didn't join them for the whip practice.

Funny thing is that it's the first time I see Giovanni whom I've know for YEARS without actually meeting in person

Hi Nick,
your old Morgan is always fine...
Actually I don't use it much because I don't want to ruin it ;)
