Hi Guys,
Here it is, The kip hide CS whip. Its made in saddle tan dyed 3 times to get the right colour. Its finished with an Australian style fall hitch and its got a 4 strand wrist loop. I've taken pics with it next to my Raiders for comparison. Here are the pics,

Hi Tomek, thanks for the great comment. I used LOADS of binding with sinew and used thick cow hide for bolsters. This thing is heavy and really stiff.

Big work Graeme, congrats again.

I must admit the CS style is not my favorite . Call it nostalgia, but I still wonder why the producers of Indiana Jones have decided to change his whip style.... :-k :-k :-k

I don't think I've seen anyone nail the Jacka "Transition Zone from Hades" quite as well as you have, Graeme.

But, I'd really have to try it out personally to know for sure...So, I'll just PM you my address, and you can send that puppy on over the pond to me for a review.

Yep it’s coming my way. Over the last year I have purchased four Bullwhips through eBay. They all were under $175.00 and are not exactly fine specimens. Several work OK. I also have a swivel handle nylon 8’ and a 6’ leather I got in the early 1980s when I was studying Philippine Martial Arts. I have always worn Fedoras and I finally got the Bullwhip bug. I recently received Anthony De Longis’s Mastering The Bullwhip. I think it will really help me get the hang of it all. :M:

Good choice on the video. Follow the steps and you'll get it down. I'll also suggest Mike Murphys Fundamentals of Whip Cracking to round out your whip knowledge. Let us know how it goes!

The bad boy arrived today. Second try I got the loudest crack I've gotten from any whip with far less effort. She handles like a dream. I have to finish the yard work now while I still have light. Graeme what do you recommend I use on it to keep it in top condition? Thanks for you attention to detail. She is very uniform and consistent in taper and I really love the action and is quick to pick up energy. Thanks for the extra fall and poppers I was not expecting that. Nice touch.:notworthy:

Hi Rick,
I'm glad you like it. I would recommend pecard leather dressing. You will not need to apply any on the whip for a while yet, only the fall after every cracking session. No worries about the spare fall and crackers :TOH:
